Our history

 

For 15 years, Pickup has always had a different way to make things. And, as we are convinced we can still make it better - and also because we like it - we will continue to change the parcelshop business. Together.

From this idea, Pickup has developed new projects to make the Pickup experience simpler, richer, and more fun for the last 15 years.

In 2009, Pickup launched its own network that now includes 7,800 Pickup points in France and 22,100 in the whole of Europe.

Today, Pickup’s ambition is to continue improving the quality of its network, and innovating and developing solutions that meet our customers’ needs.

  • 2016

    Pickup launch a network in India by establishing a presence in the 10 largest cities. Mid-2016, the Pickup network counts 27,450 points.

  • 2015

    Pickup continues to expand its European network (DPD UK, SEUR in Spain, DPD Switzerland, etc.) and counts 22,100 points in 15 countries.

  • 2014

    Pickup expands its European network with the group’s carrier: DPD Germany, DPD Benelux, Chronopost Portugal.

  • 2012

    Pickup passes the 5,000 points in France.

  • 2009

    Pickup was acquired by DPDgroup, a parcel delivery branch of Groupe La Poste, and began developing its own network of Pickup points in the world.

  • 2002

    Pickup equipped the first PUDO point in France with an IT solution including a PDA in Nanterre.

  • 2000

    From its creation, Pickup began developing and marketing the first dedicated software solution for PUDO networks.
